Our structured programs, led by experienced FIDE-rated coaches with a minimum of 4+ years of coaching and 10+ years of playing experience, create personalized learning paths for students of every skill level.
Today, we coach 150+ students across 8+ countries through flexible online and offline programs while actively serving government schools across Tamil Nadu. Our coaches have produced numerous FIDE-rated players and state, national, and international tournament winners.

Founder, Lobal Chess Academy
Kasthoori Mahalingam, from Thiruvarur District, Tamil Nadu, is the Founder of Lobal Chess Academy, a FIDE-rated chess player, coach, and entrepreneur committed to making quality chess education accessible to every child. He holds an MBA from NIT Tiruchirappalli and a B.Sc. (Textiles) from the Central University of Tamil Nadu.
He is a Tamil Nadu State Bronze Medalist, three-time consecutive Open District Champion, winner of an All India FIDE-Rated Tournament, and runner-up in an All India FIDE-Rated Tournament.
Over the past five years, he has coached 100+ students across 10+ countries, producing numerous FIDE-rated players along with state, national, and international tournament winners.
He founded Lobal Chess Academy with a mission to ensure that talented children never miss opportunities because of a lack of coaching, infrastructure, or financial support.
